This interesting illustration is making the rounds on Facebook, causing many to rethink.

It seems that many, today, erroneously think Jesus was a wimp, and even effeminate, perhaps because of how Hollywood has mostly portrayed him, and hasn’t included this scene in their movies, to my knowledge. “If we don’t see it on the screen it mustn’t have happened.”

Also, the strong words Jesus said to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3 doesn’t get much airplay, either — including on the ‘Christian’ channels. Jesus takes holiness within the church seriously!

“If anyone ever asks you ‘What Would Jesus Do?’ Remind him that flipping over tables and chasing people with a whip is within the realm of possibilities.”

    1. Good point!

That is very possible; even though, I believe all of these items could be used to glorify God, when the people are real Christians, following Christ, having pure hearts, worshiping in Spirit and in truth because they’re right with God and each other, like Jesus said we must be and Paul made sure he actually was, able to say:

“Herein I also practice *always* having a conscience void of offense toward God and men.” (Acts 24:16)
